Traveling around Gujarat area.

So it all started when Sue asked me to take her to some non-touristic part of India. Last time when she was here it was last year around October and l took her to some real non-touristic part around Himalayas and some of those places were new to me as well and as i can speak some different languages so it was easy to understand people and get the best of everything. This time i planned on taking her to Gujarat, i have passed some cities of Gujarat while traveling towards Mumbai once but never had a close look and now i see hoe beautiful part of India it is and so non-touristy really.

We started in Delhi, were in pushkar - jodhpur - mount-Abu, and then the Gujarat adventure started, believe me the roads here are absolutely much better then in northern India, felt like i was driving in Europe around alps when i drove there 2013 beginning. Our first stop in Gujarat was bhuj, i already booked a nice accommodation with swimming pool as we were going to be there for three nights, bhuj has nothing much but i did read a bit and found this nice temple known as swami Narayan temple, beautiful sunset.

Next day was quite interesting we were heading towards the biggest salt dessert in the world also known as Rann of Kutch. Really huge area and very interesting view, I did do something interesting 'my head stand' :-) , yes standing on head, took me a while to learn but now I can do it pretty easily without falling down :p or at least I try not to fall down until the photo is taken, after this we drove around to see some interesting little mountain area with some amazing views and evening again at the temple to see sunset as sue loved it there. She actually love watching people and so do I, From the same country but we have some really very interesting cultural and looks difference by the way some women around here are absolutely stunning.

Next day we were on this another nice spot , its crazy but one side about 80kms away is the salt dessert and on the other side 64kms mandvi's ocean beautiful and very quite , no tourist at all. Was a nice day and later after getting back to hotel swimming made it all even better ;-) , love swimming and want to jump in every pool that i see around me nowadays. Were ready to leave bhuj for jamnagar but how can i be on time when there is a cricket match between Bangladesh and India. Glad sue is understandable and enjoyed listening to the score as she wants India vs New Zealand on final match. We left in the middle of the match to make it to dwarka by the end of the match but you know India won before we were in jamnagar so all good :-), Jamnagar is famous for aeroplanes and other military, navy areas as the borders to Pakistan are not so far. Very noisy town i really honk so much less then all the other indian drivers really, they just do it for fun sometimes but it can really annoy me sometimes but it all went fine as next stop played beautiful. ( Dwarka ), Dwarka is really a beautiful place, you can sit right on the tip of the west coast and hear the sound of the waves was really the best part of the day sitting around a temple , feels so nice. We stayed hear only for a night and walk around the town was good with all the people staring at sue makes it even more interesting and i feel like a famous person visiting their town haha.

Next stop was junagarh this was really interesting one, as i use tomtom navigation, till now he has been fine untill once he thought we were walking and can easily climb a mountain but i was driving oops, this time he wanted to take us via real shortcut where the roads were very tiny almost for the car size that i have, i have a some bush scratches but guess it can be washed up before i go back to Delhi and dady see see them, really real adventure now i know why i decided to keep my company name Adventure holiday tours, India. We also visited porbander to see the Gandhi's birth place which was a nice stop but roads were nit the best in this town, the Gandhi's house was nice and was nice to see that part and on the way out met induan man who asked where i was from and i just said new Zealand, later that sue adopted me when i was a little child and now we are visiting India. He was so happy that he wanted to pray sue as sue did the best karma, ohh was hard to stop laughing but managed somehow haha. Junagarh was nice interesting town with really old tomb and mosque impressive as never thought of something like this in a small town as junagarh.

Now in sasan Gir national park in a hotel with swimming pool which is always good, so a bit of relaxing time before I get my car from garage tomorrow, needed a little service as its going to be a very long distance before I am back in Delhi.
