Ellora to Surat
Day started at about 5:30am when I was thinking if to get up or not :p, did make it out of hotel about 7am so good, leaving early is awesome as the temperature is good and traffic is less. I had to take same road for about 100kms that I took while coming to Ellora, after 100s I thought to make a short cut so we see something new and new roads and village. Believe me I do get into adventurous positions where my guests think I am their hero as trying to show them some real real India, I do try but I also care about my small car :p
Took this short cut and by mistake took a wrong turn as I didn't see the right turn, and made it to some small villages and guess as usual sue probably was the only tourist made it to these village roads and guess first Delhi guy on Delhi car haha. There was time when I thought I was not so far from my village as the roads were so similar to some of the field side roads in my village. Some of the bumps were hard to see and i by mistake hit the gear box chamber on one of the stone...... But i loved this driving around village and it just feels like off road racing tracks with a lot of bumsps and dust wow.
After about 30mins we made it to the main road and car changes voice a bit and i checked, it was gear box leaking because of that hitting on stone.. Now after 50kms we are again in a Hyundai garage sue loves these garage tours so non touristic. I am the best person to do the tour with as i only take people to non touristic areas ;-) haha
It took about an hour and all was good and I said to myself no more shortcuts Tarun if you want to make it back to Delhi without any more garages.
the scenery was really nice and unexpected. Now the villages were on the side of this highway road.. It was still not the main highway as no many trucks but villages and these weird mountains were just amazing, loved the view and now finally in Surat after a very long day, ready for some good sleep now and tomorrow to Ahmedabad for a night then Udaipur, that's the plan for now unless something else pops in my mind ;-)
