Today was a wonderful morning, started with the cricket match between south Africa and new Zealand, saw for about an hour then after breakfast left for Diu our next destination, interesting one as it use to be Portuguese island until 1961 when India took over it. Car worked absolutely perfect and smooth she is ready for another wonderful 3-4000kms till we are back in Delhi, didn't tell anyone but my car is she and her name is Basanti ;-) we have been together for long and have driven her a lot around everywhere specially Himalaya.
So we left and saw some interesting roads. TomTom tried to bring us to some short cut again but glad that road was closed and as now I have been using google map also so it has been working quite well. Roads and people and trees everything was changing a bit and as i said something about Nigerian/African people I just think its there 2nd or 3rd generation in this area as they are almost everywhere and they are Gujarati :-) its crazy but nice to know human are same and color doesn't make a huge difference, we make difference I guess.
We arrived in Diu a beautiful island with very less tourist and road/place seemed quite clean and maintained they even have a sside road for the people cycling, so by the time we came back new Zealand started playing and after a wonderful match they won and sue is happy :-) haha, very close match, after some nice spinachi lunch we left for a walk around the beach which was nice with more indian tourist then foreigners but I still did saw some foreigners with bikini on :-)
Sat and had some water then back to hotel for swim. Swim was nice until the chlorine they use in pool didn't suit my eye and i had dinner while some tears all the time, I was just complaining about how hard time sue is giving me , haha but later it wad fine its because I am not use to the pools.
This place really kind of makes me feel like one must come here if they are traveling around Gujarat area. Will be nice quite brake. Tomorrow planing on Diu fort which seems to be nice and some Portugal churches :-)
