Walking Tour of Old Delhi
Hi again lovely people from India and around the world. Last week i did a for walking tour of old delhi two couples 3 of them were from Brazil and one from USA but they live in Bahrain as they work there. They had around 3 full days and Fabiana contacted me to arrange Day Tour of Taj Mahal , Day Tours of Jaipur and a Day Tour of Delhi for them. I was suggested then to do a Golden Triangle Tour ( Delhi - Agra - Jaipur - Delhi or Delhi - Jaipur - Agra - Delhi ) but as they had a hotel booked in Delhi, the day trips were more suitable for them.
The arrived at night on day first and i arranged a safe delhi airport pick up for them and our family driver dropped them at their hotel and fixed the timing with them for the next day's Taj Mahal Day Tour and same on the other day for Jaipur Day Tour
They enjoyed both of these private day tours with their private driver and gave me a big Thanks :-)
On Day third i offered them a walking tour of old delhi and they seemed to be very interested in that. I met them in Old Delhi and then gave them a nice long walk around the markets of chandni chowk area and spice market of old delhi they even did shopping at some local places and i helped them bargain a bit, they were all very happy. Later i even offered them to visit laxmi Narayan temple in delhi , and i gave then beautiful information about hindu culture, yoga and some very short god stories.... they enjoyed and were very happy and even one of the two ladies who joined us for laxmi Narayan temple took a ride of my motorbike in the parking. SHe was good rider but i was afraid as i don't really give my motorbike to anyone... but something new to add on their delhi adventure with me,
After the temple i took them to a very local restaurant in delhi , they were surprised with how wonderful food was and how cheap it was as compare to other big hotels they have been eating. The ladies last wish was Henna and i arranged some henna people to come to office and put henna on the ladies hands.. That was it and they loved it :-)
I will be adding pictures on this page in a few days as i have asked Fabiana to send me some pictures via email and don't know how long it will take :P
