Rishikesh to dehradun and around.

Had wonderful beginning of day yesterday with lovely omelette and chai. We started for Dehradun with a hope to see some elephants on the way as its very much possible to see some around these jungle highways. We even saw sambhar dear baby yesterday which was cool and very different, he looked very happy :-).. No luck with elephant but discovered a new place with little following river made specially for summer enjoyment for the families, me and lekhu did swim and Aussies were enjoying sitting at one of the quite part. After that we went to sahastradhara this is a very small town with a hill top garden where one can reach by cable car, lovely view of the valley from there and its only about 12kms from there. Later we thought to take them to hotel and let them rest a bit before visiting bhatta falls which was a very good idea as this water fall is surrounded by nature with only peacefulness and only one tea stall where we did have some nice chai. This was my second time here after with sue, I discovered this lake with sue , the way is quite interesting as you really really need very good breaks and skills which I guess I have after all the driving around little bit of world and India. Lekhu drove us very carefully and view to the stair terraces made around these mountains was just stunning, you have to come to enjoy it the best ;-) After that I took them to a city mall where my last visit was again with sue and it was nice stop as the Aussies could get some things for families and as I look like one of her son with exactly same height so I was trying some t-shirt so she knows its good for him :-) was lovely walking around there. Later in the evening with dinner we played some card games ohh man, that was really a lot of fun with lekhu haha, it made us all laugh so much that I felt I would have my upper abs made soon.... So many new card games and the best of course was the one known as 'cheat' or people say 'bullshit' as well haha. Was really lots of fun and digestion was not a problem last night haha. Now on our way to Solan via some beautiful off road that I didn't try before so lets see how it will be like.


off road went off as I was typing this blog and lekhu passed the off road turn and he did not wanted to take any risk so it was fine. The way was interesting and as I got to drive after a tea stoop so it was just amazing... I have been practicing how to say 'how you doin?' Nicely without winkle as it seems my winkle is getting closer to baba ram dev as he does it all the time woops.. Fun journey and after serving in Solan I gave them a little walk around the streets where I was before with sue, as we all were hungry 😋 so we had little snacks in the middle of this little street of Solan. They did their final shopping here, well who knows shopping never ends :p haha.


was very nice walk around and then we proceeded towards the hotel. The one i booked for them cancelled my booking because of some wedding arrangements in hotel so i booking a nice hotel with beautiful view and it turns out to be amazing place with table tennis, pool and many other things like gym as well. Played fair amount of table tennis and pool with a lot of laughs before heading to have some lovely dinner.


Dinner was awesome, i ordered paneer bhurji its squiiiished chees with some onion and some other lovely stuff like garlic naan, channa masala veg biryani.


Now ready to sleep after a long day.. As have to wake up early for Shimla day trip which will be cool as on the way back i booked toy train for myself and them :-),Good night... :-)
