Motorbike travel in India

Finally back in delhi already from last two days and been very busy with a czech group doing a walking tour of old delhi and organising a Golden Triangle Tour with a private driver in India for a guy from the group.

Our last stop was Haridwar, after chamba we did some very beautiful roads to dharamshala. Dharamshala is really a wonderful place but for us there was lots and lots of rain that the roads were a bit like river but still drivable haha 😂 we didn't book any hotel so that was an adventure as it was weekend but we managed to get something nice 👍 and by the morning sky was blue and clear.

We visited Tibetan temple / museum in mclodganj while there and this day was going to be a long one as we were planing to make it to solan visiting shimla on the way. ( solan is a very small town and I love it as it gives a real Indian feel to the people visiting India, markets are nice and this place is also famous for its mushroom and tomatos ;-)
I always prefer taking off road as that's more fun in India. Seeing locals walking, smiling and what it does is makes your day nice :-)
Shimla is always a beautiful city to visit and I do lots of North India Tours that takes me to solan/shimla area and people love it as they get chance to try toy train with a speed of 20km/h , yeah really slow but beautiful scenery.
It was already dark in shimla and we even tried some traditional shop with South Indian food 🥘 it's known as Indian coffee house, must try if there.
Most interesting and quite long ride was the one from solan to Dehradun. I wanted to take ride through a off-road I did in 2014 with Sue White , her blog is http://travelsinindia2.blogspot.in/
Now this was first time I did this route on my Motorbike travel India and this time I did half route as previous trip and half new one again with great views and off-road with empty roads. No traffic just nice scenery and waterfalls and rivers.
It was tiring but worth taking route + on the way I stopped at a nice restaurant to eat Mushroom mutter Malai.... ohh this dish is just so so so so delicious that everyone will love it with some nice tandoori roti it's great. We arrived in our hotel in Dehradun before too late and had nice relaxing evening.
Next day we did a visit to Mussoorie/ some waterfalls and then to rishikesh for a nice nice smoothie ' healthy Himalaya ' and then to Haridwar for our last night before heading back to delhi. It was important to be back in delhi on 16th Aug as on 17th I was picking up this czech group for the walking tour of old delhi and organising Golden triangle tour with a private driver in India for a member from the group.
Here are some pictures from our second last day :-)

Highlight of the trip was when we randomly stopped at a place which looked very interesting as a Tibetan Domb but it turned out to be a yoga/meditation hall and a place with a description of life and at the top floor they had a wonderful room with eco sound which was a wonderful place to sit and meditate for a bit. It was really special and makes you feel that world is such a little place and how we worry about so many not so important things in life just because of connections we have with life and it's people :-)
Here are some pictures :-
